Looks like you're a newbie to our site. Take some time to have a look around. We have a nearly decade-long show library and other awesome content.

Canada’s Big Wreck first appeared on my radar circa 1998. “The Oaf,” as then heard on 92.3 K-Rock in New York City at that time (RIP), made a positive impression on this teenager, and the rest, as they say, was history. I was gifted In Loving Memory of by a friend, and still to this very day, it’s never left my playlist. “That Song” and “Blown Wide Open” are staples. Ghosts, their latest album released earlier this year, is one of the best rock records of 2014. Frontman Ian Thornley is one of those rare artists who can change your mood by singing a single chorus.
I had the pleasure of speaking to Ian Thornley earlier this month. It’s a solid 15-minute insight into him as an artist, both solo and with Big Wreck. Please, find a way to acquire Ghost, or any of their prior releases. As I’ve always said, with music, it has to move me. I’ve been moved by Big Wreck since 1998. Now it’s your turn.

That was a damn cool interview. Ian Thornley is such a likeable dude. You know what? I didn’t know about Big Wreck. Only heard the solo stuff which was radio ready. Looks like I got some investigating to do. Dude sounds just like Cornell though.
