One-on-One with ‘Dirge Within’ Guitarist Shaun Glass

“I’ve always said Shaun Glass is an open book. Our discussions are always fun, interesting, and laid back. Whether or not you like his music, he’s worthy of your respect. Shaun Glass bleeds Dirge Within. Morning, noon, and night, 24/7, he’s about this band. That’s no joke and not something I’m writing for the sake of this article. If everyone approached music and their bands like he approaches Dirge Within, the music business would be a much more honest, better place.”

Shaun Glass of Dirge Within – Interview Posted

Shaun Glass first appeared on All Knowing Force in February 2006. I can’t believe it’s been almost five years. Time truly does fly. Dirge Within is currently writing the followup to their debut, Force Fed Lies. Since the release of that record, the band has toured with heavyweights Fear Factory (who are actual heavyweights – couldn’t resist), Trivium, Gwar, and Static-X. Shaun Glass is always an entertaining guest. Trust us. This show runs nearly two hours. Lots of Dirge Within talk at the beginning, lots of music talk at the end. Enjoy.

Shaun Glass of Dirge Within – Live Interview ROCKED! Archived Soon!

Shaun Glass made his 4th appearance in as many years on All Knowing Force 8/25. The hour-long conversation promoted Dirge Within, and as usual, there were some great stories. We talked about Dez from DevilDriver’s knowledge of puppies, to Chris Volz of Flaw and his drunken rampages, and much, much more. Force Fed Lies is sick. It’s in stores NOW!

Shaun Glass (ex-SOiL, Dirge) Interviews Posted

Shaun Glass is always an open book. He caused a lot of controversy with comments about former bandmates, especially Ryan McCombs, when he told us J Records sent a groomer to a video shoot because McCombs hadn’t bathed or changed his clothes in weeks. Oh, Glass is a damn good guitarist too.
