Articles can’t be forced, so I write these as they come to me. We had Default on the show in late 2010, but to my knowledge, no one involved with Stabbing Westward was ever on All Knowing Force air. Interesting. All of these songs are great and fixtures in my music rotation. I’ll never forget when I first acquired Wither Blister Burn & Peel. That was 15 years ago! I was 16 years old! Crazy!

The Rolling Stones are arguably the greatest band that ever graced a stage. My father used to listen to them a lot when I was younger. If memory serves me correct, I was listening to “Start Me Up” on cassette non-stop. I was fascinated with their album covers. It was only when I hit my 20′s that my appreciated for their entire catalog went to a much higher level. Amazing.

This might rub some people the wrong way, but I don’t care. The fact that Volbeat has not conquered the United States is a disgrace, and is a testament to the very reason the music industry is failing. Back in the late 90′s, a band called System Of A Down went from being a club support act to headlining arenas and festivals on their Toxicity album. They were a fresh, unique sound. A chance was taken, and it paid off. Volbeat has an even more fresh, unique sound and yet they’re hard-pressed to get a U.S. push by anyone other than Jose Mangin at Sirius. This is disgusting. This is disgraceful.
