We Have Closed Our MySpace Account
By: Andrew
After 5+ years of being a member, we have decided to permanently close our MySpace account. Our MySpace profile has been deleted and as a result we will no longer be using their instant message service. If you previously used MySpace to instant message us, please visit our contact page and choose one of the many other methods.
The only way for MySpace to survive is to abandon its social networking roots and become a destination site for music. We had close to 5000 friends at the time the account was closed. I don’t know what this means, or how we got that many, considering the page wasn’t updated in two years.
I watched so many bands abandon their official sites in lieu of MySpace sites. I told all of them that would listen that this was a bad move, but hey, why do something that makes sense when you can save $10 per month? Yes, this was sarcastic.
Goodbye MySpace. I guess it was nice while it lasted.

You should be able to earn some sort of business degree by simply analyzing Myspace’s demise. See what they did? You don’t do that! Ha!
I hadn’t used Myspace in 3 years. I don’t even remember the login for my account.

I have not logged into my account in over 2 years.
The fall from grace was fast but predictable.

Myspace died along time ago. I am suprised this site has lasted longer than many of the bands featured on here have lasted.
