Innovation At Its Best

Innovation At Its Best

Hi. I’m writing this as I’m considering a job offer from Dunder Mifflin. I have a meeting with Michael tomorrow in Scranton. I love my family, and have a fondness for some of you, but I’d give it all up to share a desk with Dwight K. Schrute.

Devildriver’s new single “Pray For Villains” is a monster. If you like your music heavy, go grab their record of the same name. Dez Fafara is certainly on a mission.

I saw Harry Potter last night. I have not the slightest clue why half the world is obsessed with this boy wizard.

I also saw The Hangover a few weeks ago. It was good, but didn’t live up to the hype.

I’ve been reading a lot of Kant lately. No I haven’t.

Apparently, the folks at Live Nation are perplexed this edition of Cruefest isn’t selling well. First and foremost, the economy is in the toilet. Second, Motley Crue has been touring relentlessly since 2005. I don’t think anyone cares about Theory Of A Deadman and Drowning Pool is just about exciting as Yanni. Godsmack, although tremendous live, has seen their better days. IV was terrible. Godsmack is just a heavier version of Nickelback. They just release the same song over and over again, change a few of the words, and for some odd reason, the masses open their wallets. It’s common sense, Live Nation.

I’m going to see the Gin Blossoms on Saturday night. I’d wear a dress, but they don’t make them in my size.

Great Northern’s new record Remind Me Where The Light Is is fantastic. If you’re into dark indie rock, with interchanging male/female vocals, Google them. I’ve been sitting on an interview with Solon Bixler for weeks. It’ll make the site by Friday.

The comments to Darius’ article on Alice In Chains are certainly interesting. I’ll weigh-in by saying I agree with everything he wrote.

I’ll see you guys soon.

Kant. Harry Potter. Why the mentions of gayness? AND THERE’S A DEF LEPPARD POST TOO!

Gin Blossoms? Did you get your nails painted too? I skipped over this on first read.
