Chris Wyse of Owl and The Cult Interview

The Right Thing, the second full-length Owl album will be released on April 9th, 2013. This record truly lives in the moment. It’s very primal, organic, competent rock music played with conviction. The Right Thing opens with a cover of The Kinks track “Destroyer.” An album opening with a cover – daring and unconventional, to say the least. As far as I’m concerned, this is rock and roll, the way it should be – not an overthought collection of songs that all sound identical.

Jacob Bunton of Adler Interview

“I like being surprised. I also don’t like knowing the path an interview will travel. That journey makes for a more enjoyable, spontaneous listening experience. Color me impressed with Jacob Bunton. The man is articulate, genuinely optimistic and passionate about music, and… let’s put it like this – he’s the type of guy you could sit and talk music with for days. Back From the Dead, the debut album from Adler is a truly enjoyable listening experience.”

Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust Interview

We at All Knowing Force are thrilled to have spoken with arguably the greatest heavy metal frontman of our generation in Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust. Lajon, or LJ as he likes to be called, really needs no introduction. He’s a dominating presence on stage, fronting a massively respected band that is about to release their ninth studio album, Black Out The Sun, on March 26th.

Brian “Head” Welch of Love and Death Interview

Between Here and Lost is worthy of your attention. It’s not a masterpiece by any means, but Head deserves all the credit in the world for not only changing the opinion of the masses, but making people realize he was one of, if not the most important components of one of the most successful bands in heavy music history. Between Here and Lost is worthy of your hard-earned money and then some.

Interview with Clint Lowery of Call Me No One and Sevendust

When I heard that Clint Lowery and Morgan Rose from Sevendust were starting a side project that was going to be a complete rock band, I was pretty excited and very anxious to hear the results. I’ve always been a fan of Clint’s vocals in Sevendust and his stripped down Hello Demons… Meet Skeletons project.

This is obviously a different venture. Clint Lowery, front and center, in a new rock group called Call Me No One.

Interview with John Allen of Charm City Devils

Charm City Devils are signed to Eleven Seven Music and were actually named by label president and Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx. Since their inception, the band was featured as part of the Crue Fest 2 lineup and has released two albums, 2009’s Let’s Rock n’ Roll and Sins, which recently dropped on April 10th.

John Allen is a really cool guy and talking to him was akin to meeting an old friend in a bar. It was such a fun conversation.

Love and Death (featuring Brian “Head” Welch – formerly of Korn) Interview and Live Show Review from The Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY

“One thing I picked up on didn’t happen on the stage. It happened at merch. I’ve seen thousands of merch tables in my day. Very rarely have I seen what I’m about to tell you. During RED’s set, Welch made his way to the Love and Death table. I saw countless groups of fans go from banging their heads to running – literally – to Love and Death’s merch table. Mid-set. Mid-song. Amazing stuff. This dude is a star. Period. When you’re a star, that’s how people react.”

Interview with Dan Chandler of Evans Blue

Graveyard of Empires is an impressive album. The songs are heavy enough to rock out, but also soft enough to put you into a groove for its duration. They’re well-constructed, well-written, and well executed. Evans Blue vocalist Dan Chandler was a great interview. Check them out now.

Brian Fair of western Massachusetts’ Shadow Fall rejoined All Knowing Force this past week to discuss the band’s new album, Fire From The Sky. This album, which we have no doubt will be killer, is set for a May 15th release date. Darius also went and saw their tour opener at the Exit/In in Nashville. Check it out!

Interview with POD Frontman Sonny Sandoval

“I was flying solo when Sonny Sandoval came on the show. My morning was grueling. He was in the midst of doing a plethora of boring, formulaic interviews. So, to amuse ourselves, we talked about Bad Brains, the hood, and fake peeps.”
