Brock Lindow of 36 Crazyfists

This interview was conducted after their release from Roadrunner Records U.S. They released their third full-length album, Rest Inside the Flames, on DRT Entertainment. During the interview, Brock referred to their relationship with DRT as “So far, so good.” In the early days of DRT, I heard that from a lot of artists. Months later, those same artists were claiming not to have been paid. DRT has since folded. This conversation with Brock occurred in late 2006. We have disabled comments for this post, because it’s 2009, and this was a 2006 interview. Also, you can download this album, as of the date of this post, for free, legally, on our free music page.

36 Crazyfists Set List from 2009

- discussion on fans not being able to find the record, Rest Inside the Flames, anywhere in the U.S.

- the new direction of Roadrunner in the States, moving from a label that built and nurtured new artists, to a label looking to sign more established artists.

- the mission of DRT, which was to take artists once on a major label and "resurrect" their careers.

- their rabid legions of fans in the United Kingdom. Most of the response we received before and after this aired was from Europe.

- we took a listener call about their touring plans and potential return to New York City.

Below, you will find the music video for "We Gave It Hell" which was the first single off their fourth studio release, The Tide And Its Takers.
